Helpful Seven-Winged Angel
Who: Sephiroth (
imjustaman) & everybody
What:
Getting used to Pumpkin Hollow, protecting people from monsters
When:
Throughout October
Where:
All around town, including the library, and the forest
Warning(s):
Possible monster fights?
Around Town
Although Sephiroth came in rather quietly and with little fanfare, it is surely hard to ignore a 6'7" man with knee-length silver hair wandering around town. He is always accompanied by a devoted Umbreon trotting along at his side. When not walking about, he pets the animal and often stares off into the distance. He always seems rather like he is half in another world, which is not so strange if one had any idea what it is he’s thinking about. But he is not likely to reveal that unless it seems to come up in a conversation. He is probably not about to start a conversation either, but if he sees anyone who needs help, whether that’s lifting heavy crates somewhere or being chased by monsters, he will show up to help. He has a kind smile and is quite personable.
“Hello,” he greets you if you seem to need help with something with your home or business. “Can I be of assistance?”
Library
Sephiroth can get very into books. Very. It’s not unusual for him to spend literal days reading if he’s trying to research something important.
He can often be found at the library, going over materials repeatedly in the hopes of finding some clue within them that will lead to the solving of the mystery and breaking the curse. The Umbreon always waits patiently for him, sitting next to his chair while he reads and reads and takes notes.
Forest
Sephiroth has discovered to his annoyance that some of his powers and abilities aren’t as strong here. And he can’t fly off the isle. Of course, that would be too easy.
He’s taken to sometimes switching to his most powerful form to patrol the forests for people determined to ignore the warnings to stay out of them. Part of him would prefer not to do this and just stay as himself. The other part feels that when he has the knowledge he does, he should use it and use it for good instead of evil.
He is not so recognizable in this form. His hair turns white and defies gravity. His eyes glow and appear pupil-less. His wing, normally black, is purple. Six other purple wings hang from his waist like a kilt or skirt. He is clothed only in a metal covering over his loins. It was a form of arrogance when he assumed it in his insanity, believing himself to be a god. He knows now he is not. But he wants to have as much power as possible at his beck and call with these dangerous monsters roaming about.
He doesn’t usually speak in this form, instead defeating the monsters and slipping away into the forest. But on any occasion where for some reason he lingers and does speak, he has a very distinctive voice. If anyone hears him and later hears him speak in his normal form, or vice versa, they may connect the dots if they’re good at identifying voices.

He winces a bit at the reminder of the gala. He hadn't been there then, but he has certainly heard plenty since arriving. He isn't sure what to think. Given what he has been up to for the past several years, he hardly feels in a position to cast judgment on the woman.

Siebren's experience at the gala was memorable for reasons that have nothing to do with Dahlia; he kind of ate a whole demon. As you do.

That is indeed certainly memorable.

He considers this. "How do you mean, mystical?" He isn't opposed to magic, given how powerful he is. He wouldn't dismiss something altogether for using magical means, especially not without hearing it out first.
no subject
...as far as he knows.

"Well, what do they claim the purpose of their magic is?" he asks, assuming they must be making some kinds of claims about it.

He's still not sure what to make of that.

He offers a hand to shake. "I'm Dr. Siebren de Kuiper, by the way. You are?"

He shakes the man's hand. "I am Sephiroth."
