Delta Catch All
Who: Subject Delta (
daddy_topside) and pretty much everyone!
What: Delta v (small) Civilization
When: Varying times of the day!
Where: Varying spots but mostly around the outer edges of Pumpkin Hollow!
Warning(s): Canon typical violence (Bioshock). Will add anything if they come up!
Open - In Town! (Daytime)
Subject Delta was created for the sole purpose of attending to the protection of a singular Little Sister. When he wasn’t doing that, he was hunting for leaks and doing repairs on a megalomaniac’s underwater hell city.
Figuring out mundane things like housing and groceries isn’t… quite in his repertoire. You might as well have thrown a tortoise into a lake and gotten about the same level of drowning incomprehension.
Typically, Delta would commit to the fine art of simply disregarding everything anyone tried to tell him and forge his own path. It’s just this time he’s so far out of his depth, he doesn’t even have the familiar to fall back on.
In the end, stunned by the endless be-clouded skies and the sheer shock of it all, Delta simply parks himself on a rocky hill and contemplates insanity.
For Grace - Downtown (Daytime)
Money, at least, was a familiar concept to Subject Delta. Cash to be traded for goods (and services, but you didn’t exactly get service between the splicers having the run of the place and just plain being a Big Daddy). You didn’t crawl out of a libertarian’s wet dreams without at least learning that.
The question is just what to spend money on. Deprived of his weapons, Delta instead muddles about Downtown, accumulating frightened and wary stares from the sparse populace as he contemplates the window of a woodworking shop.

He takes a long, deep breath, mind racing. he can't offer his usual succor in the form of work or food at the Temple. It lies in the heart of the village and his would be a level-headed reaction to what many villagers might do upon seeing this strange creature.
He would have to convince them, after he convinces himself.
"Where is it that you're staying?" He finally asks. He could rise to meet this challenge set forth by the Goddesses, to offer him the same as he would any other newcomer. He...could.

The man is clearly terrified of him, but he continues to try talking to him. It makes Delta wonder: to what end?
Lowering the hand he'd been gesturing with, Delta silently contemplates Delgas. If the priest really wanted to find out where Delta lives (or rather, will live), then he's going to have to work for it. No one else looks like Delta and the town is small, but it's the principle of the matter.
There is no trust here.
Thus, rather than answering, Delta utters a disgruntled grunt and starts heading out towards the nearest beach.

And yet, and yet...
They were brought here regardless.
Degas takes a quick, stern breath to steel himself and starts after the metal being, keeping the same length of distance between them so he can call out, "I understand that this isn't quite a warm welcome, but should you require something...my routine is rather set. We can cross paths here around this same time again."
Wrap?
Potentially a useful encounter, but nothing Delta hoped to dig into too much just yet. Better to fortify himself first before going digging.
He's got the luxury of time, now, after all.
Yeap!
Besides, he can mull over what to tell the locals on his walk back. A preacher's job is never done...
