Believe, Believe, the Dragonborn Comes [Open]
Who: Finn Onaru (
fireandhoney) & Anyone
What: Finn gets used to his new surroundings.
When: Late May
Where: Downtown
Warning(s): TBA
When going downtown, it might be hard to miss the new face. He's about 5'9", has grey skin, pointed ears, long black hair, and is on the skinny side. He's dressed in a grey tunic and pants, with a teal robe over it, and worn black boots. He also speaks with a British accent, and has a slightly raspy voice. Like someone who's inhaled ash throughout his childhood.
Finn still isn't entirely unconvinced that this isn't some plane of Oblivion. Though if it is, it's like no plane he's ever read about. Maybe it's part of Sanguine's domain. It's far too organized to be part of the Shivering Isles.
As he explores downtown, he slips into a nearby clothing store, figuring he might as well look for a change of attire.
The elf eyes a black jacket and matching pants, holding it up to himself just to get an idea of what it would look like on him.
---
Later, he makes his way to a local tavern, to grab a drink and perhaps some food. He sits at a table, and idly wonders aloud to himself, "I don't suppose I could get a good Dunmer wine? Or some grilled grasshoppers. Probably asking for too much."

"I don't suppose you're familiar with the whole Dragonborn legend?"
He certainly wasn't at first, and was really confused upon finding out. It's not exactly part of Dunmer lore.

“Yes. I… traveled by the Dragonborn’s side, before the events that brought me here.”

"Well, the thing is... I'm the last Dragonborn."

"In which era?" Because her Dragonborn is, funnily enough, also called the Last Dragonborn.

"I think we may hail from different kalpas. You see, I also kept the company of the Last Dragonborn, in the Fourth Era, in the 201st year. And she was an Imperial by the name of Skadi Nanagia. This I am sure of. Of this, I have no doubt. But I do not think you confused or mad, muthsera. Now that you have told me your truth, the measure in your voice is plain to hear. You speak with a dragon's inheritance."

"I've spoken with scholars about this sort of thing, but I wasn't sure if it was true or not. I mean, seeing through time is one thing, but to know that there's another kalpa where I'm not the Dragonborn... assuming I even exist at all in that reality."
