César won't stop looking at her like that anytime soon. He leans into her touch and briefly closes his eyes. "A team effort." He's feeling better if he'll makes a near pun like that. "I'll always let you in."

He opens his eyes when she answers his question, his palm moving to cover the back of her hand on his chest; he brings their other hands up so he can ever so gently kiss Magne's knuckles. "Did you know that Spanish adjectives and many nouns ending in -a are feminine?" In other words, the ones he's been using this entire time—a little language fact saved for a time like now. "... What can I do to help, my sweetheart—mi amorcita? I'm yours, dear—querida."

Translations. Those little secret pet names starting to be demystified. Amorcita, though, is new.
