WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

...huh. She's got to give him his dues. Guy's got at least some guts. The thought passes through her mind quickly, quietly, and though she doesn't lunge, she shifts to the edge of her seat and makes sure to flash her teeth.

"I've had a bad week. Cut your losses."

There is a look on his face like he's considering saying something else, but very quickly seems to think better of it.

"Hope your next week is better, eh?" and she finds some nice lady to make her laugh, but he is distinctly not saying that as he takes the damn hint and moves on.

Daisy watches him go, then settles back in her seat. If he'd actually pushed his luck too-too far, well, he'd have found out far more violently, but. Better to not let it get that far, isn't it.
