WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

Max takes a good whap to the nose but he just laughs it off.

"Mmhm," Max says looking in Morgan's direction. "You're not kidding. He's real easy on the eyes, and he's kind too. I was helping him carry stuff earlier while he was bussing tables. Very friendly guy. Good for you." There's not even a hint of sarcasm. Max means every word.

"You've met him, then!" Sally beams, her pride evident. Arthur is a good man, and she's incredibly proud to be with him.

"Yes, I have. I liked him right away." There is nothing that makes his shipper heart happier than seeing two people who obviously love each other so much. Her face says it all.

"Hey, if you two ever need to schedule any alone time, I'm a great babysitter."

[sunshinesally]

Sally laughs and blushes at that. "I just might take you up on it! It's pretty hard to keep my hands off him."

How's that saying go? 'Cowboy butts drive me nuts?' Nah, she's not gonna say that out loud.

"Plus my work keeps me busy. I hate dragging poor Gwen out to the woods or taking her farming."

"I can see why. It's a good thing you told me he's taken or I'd have embarrassed myself trying to ask him out." A+ good taste.

She totally should have said it out loud. Max would laugh for days.

"Yeah, I'm sure that doesn't make the work any easier for you, either. The offer is a real one. I don't mind at all. It'll be kinda like how I used to take care of my baby sister."

"I'll definitely have to call you sometime, then! You've got one of these, right?" Sally holds up her sending stone--- a slice of peach agate with a hole punched through the bottom. A little charm dangles from a cord strung through the hole, a purple bead that looks like a ringed planet.

"I do, yes." He holds up his own sending stone, a rounded chocolate opal that fits in the palm of his hand. "Isn't it neat? It looks kind of like a brown peanut M&M."

He marvels at the charm hanging off of hers. "Wow, that's so cute. That reminds me of the phone charms that were really popular in Japan. I bet Gwen loves to try and chew on that bead."
