WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

Ammy isn't frightened, afraid, or angry. Whatever reaction Nimona fears simply isn't there. Time just seems to drag against the clock for a moment, and then just as quickly she's right there beside her, grinning cheekily and nuzzling against Nimona's side. "That's a good trick."

Sometimes a few words are better than many.

...Okay, yeah, it was probably dumb of her to think a goddess-dog would run away from a little shapeshifting.

Nimona grins back -- the embarrassment remains, albeit fainter than before -- as her tail gradually picks up wagging again. "Still dunno how much everybody's gonna freak out here," she admits, bumping her nose against Amaterasu's.

"I cannot imagine any here would be particularly worried by that. Strange things abound. A dead man is friend to many, and several shapeshifters are friends of mine." Ammy gives her a friendly return bump, tail wagging in sync with Nimona's.

She laughs, a little disbelieving -- but not in a bad way. More like you'd laugh as you stared at the winning numbers of a lottery ticket.

"So I really did hit the jackpot twice in a row?" The velocity of her tail picks up. "Everybody's cool with monsters here, too?"
