WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

Max was already moving in the moment he saw that wobble. He's not about to let his new friend down.

"You bet!" He grabs the plates where indicated, neatly piling them on the center of his palm.

"Yeah, I know. I am. But this is my way of settling in. You good now? I can take some more."

Arthur isn't keen to argue too much, but he gives a small shake of his head and a huff of a laugh that speaks volumes. You're odd, but not gonna complain.

"Naw, I got the rest of 'em, I think," He finishes his short little shuffle, and finally deposits plates, letting out a relieved sigh. And, now, with his hands free, he reaches over to give his new acquaintance a jovial pat to the shoulder. "Saved me from makin' a scene and ruinin' the mood, I owe ya one. What's your name, partner?"

He knows. But he's cute so he gets away with it. He knows that too.

"Something tells me you'll pay it back or forward eventually," Max says with a chuckle. "Max Maximum, at your service. But just call me Max. All my friends do."
