WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

Step one of finding yourself in a new place: locate creature comforts as quickly as possible.

His eye catches on a deep blue pocket square with delicate embroidery, and George touches it lightly. "I'm rather partial to this one. What do you think, Gilbert?"

Escape won't be that easy. But at least he's drawn most of the attention.

"I've done a few suits--for the Merrymeet festival, most notably--but I am still learning. If you're willing to be patient with me, I'm certain I can get you clothed suitably. And if you're not patient, I'll direct you to the greater Artisan's Guild."

Guess who got caught having made his way about halfway down the table in an escape attempt.

"The needlework on that one is fine yes- fine delicate, I mean- did you want me to get you another plate of something-" sir "George? And er- you."

Gilbert really, really misses when George would just feed him names.

George glances at Gilbert. So that's where they're at, is it?
"That would be appreciated, thank you. I do believe I saw a casserole that I've been meaning to try, if you wouldn't mind?" Which coincidentally happens to be on the other side of the square. Don't say he never does anything for you, Gilbert.

"I'm sure I can find it in myself to be patient," he says to Annabelle, with a bright smile "But, ah, terribly sorry, I appear to have forgotten my manners. George Elsworth, and my friend is Gilbert Fitzroy, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
