WELCOME POTLUCK

Greetings, residents! Those more observant sorts among you may have noticed a large influx of very crowded ferries. In order to welcome our new residents en masse, Town Hall is holding a potluck in Town Square. Please bring a dish if you are able and make a new friend!

All of our newest arrivals need only bring themselves. We look forward to welcoming you all into our community, and may your lanterns always be lit.

This event is open to all! In light of our new influx of prospective players following the Great Sail Migration, we've decided to offer a small public event to tide everyone over until the TDM this weekend.

"Ah! You know her? I was quite excited to meet another wolf! She's setting up a den not far from mine."

If she keeps watching, she'll get to see it just keep growing. Not quite the same burst of flourishing life as she had a week or two ago, but Ammy is vibrant with praise and it shows in the world around her. Come to think of it, the air feels like it's full of summer sun, now. Not an oppressive heat, but the kind of warmth that's just hot enough to encourage seeking shade, or swimming, or a good cold drink. The light of the sun that carries very nearly every living thing in her heart.

It's warmer now, but Fever's still engrossed in looking. Watching the life come to be, lunch forgotten in favor of wide red eyes just drinking it in. And the weather being different, not always comfortable - it's welcome in its own way. Things change here. Things are allowed to be real.

Amaterasu is more than willing to provide the touch of the sun, the blessing of a living world. It is part of her duty, here, in this town she has chosen to guard for the time being. Companionable and calm. "It seems more from that place are arriving here, I think. I hope the reunions are happy ones."

"Happy by virtue of happening at all. Even my worst enemy, I'd be glad to see them removed from that place."

Even if some of them she detested, would rather see dead before her feet, it didn't mean that when they had fought so hard for everyone that she had the luxury of drawing lines. All those divisions could come back later - she can take care of her grudges after the immediate problem was solved.
