He carefully rests the flat of his chin on Chris's head with a quiet sigh. "I'll be thinking of you the whole time, just so you know. I wish I could take a bunch of pictures so you could see it too."

"You don't have to think of me the whole time. I'll be asleep for most of the party anyway. I want to get better as soon as I can." Chris gives First Aid another squeeze. "I'll let you tuck me into bed if that'll make you feel better about leaving me to convalesce?"

Chris carefully extracts the container from First Aid's bag and makes sure to sit it on the little table between the armchairs before opening it up. Best to be steady. They match deed to word, if a bit slowly. Their throat is rather sore from all the coughing and swallowing gets a small wince each time. But it's necessary.
Chris gives a little sigh and sets the container back down. "Maybe I should have a glass of water, too."

"Do you have any medicine you want to take before you go back to bed?"

It's one of those medicines that they had Sally make prior to wintertime, a tincture to be taken at a tablespoon per dose. Next to the bottle is a piece of paper... because Chris knows they lose track of time when feverish. The paper has a column for 'Dose' and a column for 'Time', so First Aid can see when Chris last took their medicine.
Maybe the four hours between doses has already passed...

He carefully measures out the medicine and writes the dose and time down on the piece of paper, his handwriting plain but legible (which is a lot more than you can say for a lot of organic doctors) and delivers it to Chris with a gentle pat on their hand.
"I can't kiss you goodnight, so please imagine it for me," he jokes affectionately. "Get well soon."
