What: Letters of Appreciation
When: the planning is after "Bottle Collection Notice" and the presentation is either right before or on Merrymeet (in universe; feel free to get to this when you get to it)
Where: Anywhere Eddie can get a word with said friends... and/or the farm
Warnings: None to start with, don't anticipate any
PART ONE [Open to Angel's Friends, but locked against Angel]
If you are a friend of Angel's, at some point after those bottled 'letters' start washing up on the beach, Eddie will approach you for a private word.
"I want to put together a surprise for Angel, but I need your help," Eddie says. "Angel had no connections back in the world he came from, so he didn't get any letters when the rest of us newcomers did. It made him feel left out, and I feel bad about that."
Eddie explains that he'd like you to write a letter for Angel, to let him know that he's appreciated here in Pumpkin Hollow. Hopefully, it will help Angel feel more connected to the new community in this new world, even if his old world let him down.
Eddie blushes a little. "You know I love him. We're pretty obvious about it. And I do my best to make him feel cherished and special. But in this case, I can't do it alone. I'm going to collect the letters and present them to him... and I'd like to do it around Merrymeet, if possible."

PART TWO [Locked to Angel only]
Once the letters have all been written and collected, Eddie gathers them together. The stack is tied up with a satin ribbon -- the ribbon has a little card strung on it that reads To Angel, From Your Friends in Pumpkin Hollow.
And that stack of letters is waiting for Angel to see it one morning, sat next to a cup of tea.
Eddie chews a little on his lower lip, and smiles as Angel enters the kitchen.
"I've got a surprise for you. All our friends helped. And... and we hope you like it."
