There's a definite face journey Fever goes on while Alice talks. The soul-sucking monster is normal, yes, because that does happen, but the evil computer system gets a furrowed brow that deepens over it eating someone. And then Sam's girlfriend, who ought to be slain in the streets for that, lying to poor Alice who must have been eaten up with anxiety about the whole deal.
