"Ex-actly!" she says, grinning. "It took him years and years just to get good at designin', and if you get a few drinks into him he'll start goin' on for hours about his sewin' mistakes. Like the time he sewed a pair of pants back to front, n'all the times he sewed through his own hand, or the sewin' machines he's broken -- that's machinES, plural! Or the time Alexei thought one of his sewin' tins had candy in it and ate a couple'a pins, so everybody stopped workin' to rush him to the ER...That one wasn't really Vib's fault, but he likes tellin' the story anyway," she laughs.
