Unsurprisingly, the mention of aliens earns a sullen sniff from the woman in green. "We jump at the chance to go to war with anything. Though, I can't say if I'd rather fight something semi-human— something that holds a gun and fights like we do— or... whatever else is out there. Animal, but no less bright." She swirls her glass. Stares briefly into it, like it might provide some kind of answer. One swift gesture and she downs what's left.
Animal or humanoid, singular or amassed, it doesn't matter; the lavender courage coursing through her now declares she'd outwit and shellac anything that might waste her time by threatening her safety. By standing in her way of peace and goddamn quiet.
"Fuck 'em all. Us included. In the end maybe we'll have learned to play a little nicer. And if not..." A shrug, a derisive half-smile. She goes for a piece of bread, eyes a few leftover crumbs on her companion's breast— on accident, obviously.
CT's pride is met by pure, vindictive delight. "Of course you did," She grins. "That's what they get for half-assing their security and hiring on their own worst nightmare. Which I mean as a compliment. They couldn't have known what they were getting into, but those sort of things really are time-sensitive. If not then, a year, two years and someone else would have come along. They have themselves to blame."
