"Less than is fully comforting, but great strides have been made. We face some powerful enemies, and right now, we can't exactly turn them against each other and solve a problem that way. One of them's already been slain by one of us, though, and given the skillset and determination of us as a whole, I do not think the others will last."

She shrugs her shoulders, causing the veil to move with the motion.

"I know less about the supposed chaos god than I do the demons, but what I gather most from my friends is that we need information above all else, so we can properly get rid of him." And she can't exactly go sniffing around the Ocularum, with how she accidentally threw her lot in with Dahlia Leeds - oh, this internal politicking is tiring. "It's not the most reassuring answer, I know, to say that we're in progress. But more has been done in the last handful of months than has been able to be done in years. It's moving, and there are enough people bound and determined to see it done. Myself included."

A tiny, tiny pause.

"I can offer you this, though. I sought out Mortanne and spoke with her, and she has no doubts about being able to hold up her end of the bargain. No hidden catch to fulfill it beyond what has already been said. You will be able to go back to her."
