What's in the tin, nestled in tissue paper, does indeed appear to be cookies -- three different kinds, with little cards indicating the flavors: rosemary hazelnut, oatmeal ginger, and cheese-and-onion (an extra note on that card says NOT SWEET).

"Baked goods seemed a little too easy," she says, "so I thought maybe I'd also get you a useful tin that you can keep things in when they're done."
