It's as simple as answering a call. Fever's felt everything while waiting for the crowds to clear - anticipation, anxiety, fear, doubt, hope - and watched them all, grateful for the veil that hides her face from view. Grateful for the chill, for otherwise she would have overheated with too much thinking, with the inevitable mortal worries that have twisted up inside of her ever since she saw the first frost.

A leap of faith, pure faith, that this will help. That this will work, that she'll be able to come out of this changed in the right ways, that she won't be lost before she can tell those she cares for the words that terrify her.
