Jon gives a slow nod of understanding. He can't say that he truly understands, not really--- that ship sounds like some new brand of hell that he could barely conceive of--- but it wasn't as though he was managing flawlessly when he first arrived in Pumpkin Hollow, either. Time and effort to get better are really all there is for it.

The optimism isn't genuinely there, but it's nice to hope for these things, isn't it?
