timeskip!

"Hey, anytime," Laios assures her, shifting to stand right along with her. "I'm gonna go check in on everybody, but let me know if you need me, okay?"

Even after the first night or two, settling in got no easier to manage - but, there was nothing to be gained after losing sleep. It takes some serious effort, but Laios manages to settle in.

The day had been decent, as much as it could have been. Laios tried to mingle with those in quarantine as best as he could, finding a few old friends to check in on, but ultimately, he'd wandered. He'd managed to have a quiet conversation with Dahlia, who'd really seemed to need it - and, once all was said and done, he felt like he'd needed it just as much.

But now, it's off to bed.

The bedroom he'd been given had been borderline luxurious, significantly nicer than any room he'd ever been in before, and he's still getting used to that. He'd just started to dress down for the night, simply down to his underclothes, when the sound of the bedroom door opening catches his attention.

An owlish blink is replaced with a sheepish delight when he finally sees who's paid him a visit.

"Hey, Dahlia! What's up? Everything okay?"
