Shen Qingqiu's shoulders shake again, this time in a muffled sob of relief as he feels the weight of that gaze move on. "Thank you," he whispers, and then falls silent, focusing his energies on trying to regain his composure. Unused as he is to this sort of public breakdown, his face is burning with embarrassment when he finally raises his head and sits upright once more, and he reaches for his beer without speaking as he tries to cool down.

"I apologize," he finally says tightly. "I'm not usually one to, to lose control like that. This is difficult for me, even with your god's...assistance."
