"I know!" Elias laughs, delighted. "I'm thinking a monthly expedition would serve us well, and I'd be happy to have you along for shorter, more informal outings! This one has been splendid, don't get me wrong, but I've not worked in a group so large in some time now."

He closes the notebook and passes it back with care, and only once his hands are well and properly free, he grabs his cup of coffee once more.

"Now you've got me daydreaming about what we could find with so many interested eyes in our woods this spring," Elias gives a wistful sigh, tipping his head back a bit for the dramatics of it all. An amused grin still lingers on his lips as he speaks. "Where were all you people before now? What I wouldn't have given for actual interest like this before!"
