There's a halfway grin when Daisy talks about her would-be wife - the one without a name. Sex has a way of dragging impulsive thoughts to light and letting them be said, even if Fever herself has never crossed that particular boundary. But regardless, the important part is that Daisy is unattached in the ways that matter. There's understanding, and not a hint of regret for what happened. They both needed it.

"Don't know her as well as you do, but I'm perfectly capable of believing it. It's just that I knew we had a few married before." A shrug. Getting married on the horror boat is weird to her, though if it made them happy, who did it hurt? "I won't question her pet names further. She made it clear there's no jealousy or anything of the sort to fuss about."

And it's not as though Fever herself has anyone to worry about. The chances of that really happening, slim to none, as befits her.

"Promise I won't go telling the whole town, though. She just has a way of...getting it out of you, you know?"
