The usual new-arrival clothing sits uneasily on his whip-thin frame, the kind of thinness that's less a matter of genetic makeup or exercise and more a matter of never having gotten a full meal a single day in his life. (He's gotten plenty of full meals over the days that have passed since his death, but nevertheless.)

The food on offer has decidedly captured the greater part of his attention, but he's scanning the crowd and what can be seen of the town from here even as he loads up a plate.
