Ryja recognizes that scent. Almost everyone from the dream, her first experience here, has smelled different in the real world.... Except Elsie. Elsie smells the same and that gets Ryja's ears perked up the moment she catches it. Is it weird someone she only partially met in the dream makes her feel nostalgic for a world that wasn't real and wasn't home? Yes. Yes it is.
Does Ryja care, as she all but bounces over to say hello? No, no she doesn't. She remembers, however, that the original residents of the town didn't have the dream, don't remember... Which seems so unfair, really. Still. "No need to worry. Just set it with everything else." She says with a smile, wondering how the reading would have gone for her, if only it had mattered.
Oh, she wonders if those are good mushrooms. What with the famine and her abduction and everything, she'd love good forest forage, but has not yet worked up the nerve to go back out into the woods alone.
