Chris tucks the note into a pocket and puts his hands over Lou's ears so she can't hear the next bit (specifically the cursing).
"There's a version of Earth that got fucked comin' an' goin' because it became the focus of Darkseid's attention. The planet Apokolips was teleported into the same space occupied by the Moon and... well, the Moon exploded. Not a good time to be sensitive to death, what with multiple extinction events going on in succession." Chris lowers his hands again.
