There were only a few people Tarantulas was interested in buying gifts for, and he was only expecting to see one of them tonight -- so it's an interesting mix of surprise, pleasure, and annoyance that he feels when he catches Emery's scent in the crowd. (And it has to be Emery's scent that catches his attention -- he's never actually seen the wolfformers's fully human face before.)

"I didn't think you'd come," Tarantulas says when he catches up to him, pouting slightly as he explains, "I was going to take your gift out to you tomorrow. It's still in the shop right now."
