The supervillains, the cosmic threats, the fights that sometimes break out between superheroes who can't work together. The idea that all of that was invented for the entertainment of people on some higher plane of reality is... disconcerting. As is the idea that their friend has so much more knowledge of their world than Chris had thought possible for someone from a different universe.
