"I wouldn't mind being treated by you, if I get sick. I'm going to be the one treating you if you get sick, after all. That's what our lessons are about." Chris gives First Aid a smile -- it's a peace offering and a question 'we're okay now, right?' -- and gives his arm a squeeze.

Chris was prepared to have to explain, to argue and defend for their choice. First Aid getting there on his own, and just accepting that it's important, is unexpected but welcome.

"Apology accepted," Chris says warmly. "And I accept the money in the spirit you meant it -- to help me take care of myself." They'll go in for a hug if it looks like First Aid is amenable to one.
